Roadphalt Colored Micro-Pavement ,it is an efficient color asphalt road surface layer paving scheme, include two layers : the lower is a special bonding layer and the upper layer is the 1.0-30px thickness of colored asphalt mixture (typical construction molding thickness is25px).
Roadphalt Colored Micro-Pavement consists of the surface layer and the bonding layer.
Surface layer: surface layer adopts the OGFC - 5 gradation which can make the surface form good coarse grain structure. Adopts Roadphalt warm mix pigmentable binder, the paving construction temperature is lower than conventional colored hot mix asphalt mixture at least 50 degree, the thickness of surface layer is 25px that ensure construction workability and compactness; Roadphalt colored pavement of pigments ensure the molding surface is beautiful and lustre.
bonding layer: bonding layer adopts special adhesive layer material, it's strong bonding characteristic can guarantee bond between surface layer and the lower pavement layer, ensure it won't generate piece peeling caused by external influence , guarantee the quality of pavement construction after the molding; High permeability characteristics make it can fill and seal the underlying pavement surface pores to form a waterproof layer, which can effectively guarantee the underlying pavement surface water will not be violated, to ensure its ability to resist water damage.

Product Features
1)Reduce the cost of the project
Because OGFC-5 grading characteristics, smaller nominal maximum particle size of pavement thickness can be reduced to about 25px. Conventional hot mix asphalt concrete surface layer thickness of the color is generally not less than 75px, while the thickness of Roadphalt Colored Micro-Pavement is only 1.0-30px, thereby reducing the thickness of the colored part of the road, reducing the cost of the project.
2) Special adhesive layer materials to ensure the interlayer adhesion
Special adhesive layer has good waterproof and cohesive effect, which can effectively prevent the peeling of the surface layer. Special bonding layer can form high-performance waterproof layer in the original surface pavement, meanwhile, form a strong bonding surface with the under pavement, guarantee the surface layer and the under pavement form integrity, and thus to ensure the inter-layer bonding ability; Adhesive layer has high shear capacity, ensure its not easy to be destroyed by the surface aggregate.
3) With warm mix technique, extend the construction period
With warm mix technique, the construction temperature greatly reduced, lower than the conventional hot mix color mixture 50 degree at least , it also can be constructed in winter, at the same time ensures the construction workability in low temperature of the colored asphalt mixture.
4)Good slip resistance
Adopt unique OGFC-5 gradation, constitute a wear-resistant surface layer, with good slip resistance, reduce traffic accident due to pedestrians slipping caused by rain and snow weather.
5) Forming diffuse reflection, improve safety performance
The pavement surface is rough, easy to form the diffuse reflection, effectively prevent reflective phenomenon, which can greatly increase the visibility of the road, play good visual effect.
6) Reduce pollution, protect the environment
With warm mix technique, it can be reduce energy consumption . Therefore, this process can achieve the effect of energy saving to meet the environmental requirements.
Construction guide
1.Asphalt entrance or joint
The barreled asphalt is deposited in the special color asphalt storage tanks.
2.Adding aggregate
Coarse aggregate: smaller crushing values between 3mm and 5mm such as basalt, diabase and other common stone are recommended , colored stone in accord with the technical specifications and requirements of road construction such as sandstone is recommended to use for colored pavement.
Fine aggregate: The diameter is 0-3 mm of limestone is recommended.
3.Adding pigment
Adopting special pigment of colored asphalt which produced by Roadphalt. We recommended the addition amount of the pigment is 2% -3%.
4.Mixing
The suggested mixing time is about 40s-60s after pigment is put into mixing tank. Asphalt mixture should have performance of even coverage, no gray particle, uniform color, no agglomerate and no isolation phenomena of particle.
5.Asphalt mixture discharge
Mixing well-distributed and can meet the requirement of discharging temperature. The range of control temperature is 105-135℃ and can be used when mixing.
6.Cleaning the pavement
Cleaning the road dust and varia to ensure the road's clean and tidy .
7.Spraying tack coat
It's better to use asphalt distributor and artificial recharge when use special tack coat material. Spraying materials must form atomization phenomenon for filling in original road's interstice.
For getting prefect bonding effect, it's better to spray tack coat material 30min-90min ahead of time. If there is still impurity on road surface , need to clean and then paving.
8.Paving
The pavers need to meet the requirement of construction and should be cleaned, especially screed should be cleaned with solvent or colored asphalt mixing is paved on the pavement substrate until there are no streaks from the substrate to the superstratum. Continuous paving and full-size shape for keeping color consistent, granule uniform and beautiful.
9.Compaction
The roller steel wheel need to be cleaned before compaction in case of polluting road. In order to guarantee the compaction temperature, road roller need to compact timely. The stopover, steer or trig and vibration were not allowed during the compaction. Controlling the rolling speed is 8km/h and adjusting rolling times according to the site situation. Normally, two times rolling can meet requirement. The main principle is avoiding crush stone for preventing the road turn white.
10.Open to traffic
When the temperature is high, the mixture need to be maintained 4 hours after compaction is finished for forming initial strength on road surface. When the temperature is low, it can be opened the traffic once the surface temperature is reduced to 30 degree . Can't pass pedestrians during the maintenance.
Other Requirements
1)Constructors should have relevant job qualification, the operators have to perform the operation process and rules.
2)Site must be closed before construction and perform the implementing security regular strictly.
3)All workers in-situ should be protected by safety equipment.
4)Delivery vehicle should be covered to prevent mixture from loosing.
